Nigerians who lost loved ones in the recent terrorist assaults have received consolation from President Muhammadu Buhari.
In the past week, terrorists have assaulted various communities in the states of Sokoto, Kaduna, and Plateau.
Garba Shehu, the president’s spokeswoman, said the president assessed the situation on Tuesday.
Buhari promises that the afflicted states will receive the full backing of the federal government, saying, “We have given security forces complete flexibility to deal with, and bring to an end this craziness.”
“I strongly condemn these heinous assaults on the nation. I want to reassure the states that the federal government will support them in whatever way possible.
“My condolences to the families of the deceased. May the afflicted individuals heal fast,” the President wished.
