Police arrest Auchi poly student who stabbed her boyfriend to death for allegedly cheating on her in Edo state

Favor Oyhou, who had been sought after for reportedly fatally stabbing her boyfriend Paul handsome, 25, in Abuchi, Edo State, has been detained by the Edo State Police Command.

The Area Commander and Divisional Police Officer in charge of Auchi were promptly directed by the Commissioner of Police, CP Abutu Yaro, fdc, to smoke out the fleeing girl unharmed after this diabolical conduct, according to the state police command spokesman, ASP Jennifer U. Iwegbu.

The Command desires to inform the public that the suspect was apprehended in Benin on July 25, 2022, at around 22:45 hrs., as a result of reliable intelligence collected by Operatives of the Command.

In related news, the spokesperson reported that the police had freed three traditionalists who had been kidnapped.

She said that on July 25, 2022, at around 1 p.m., the Command received a report that three traditional worshippers had gone to a river along the Benin-Abraka road for prayers when they were approached by hoodlums and taken into the bush.

Divisional Police Officer Ugo dispatched his agents to the area as soon as he received the information in order to pursue the criminals and maybe save the victims. The thugs were forced to flee into the bush after spotting the operatives on their track and abandoning their victims.
