Following the winger’s rumored transfer to Slovenian champions, NK Maribor, Rivers United have asserted that Ishaq Rafiu is still their player, according to Completesports.com.
The Nigeria Professional Football League champions said any alleged transfer made without their knowledge would be a violation of the contract because they didn’t approve of his sale.

Ishaq Kayode Rafiu’s contract with Rivers United FC is still in effect, and as a result, any attempted transfer without the team’s knowledge or consent will simply be a breach of that contract.
